Due to declining water levels and public safety, the Council for the City of Morden has passed a resolution to close the boat launch at Lake Minnewasta, which means any motorized watercraft, ie. Boats/jet skis are not permitted at this time.
This closure will remain in effect until water levels increase and the lake is deemed safe for watercraft.
Non-motorized water sports such as canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding are still permitted.
