Lift Station Replacement Work and Temporary Street Closure Notice

[MORDEN, MANITOBA] - The City of Morden wishes to inform all residents and commuters in the area about an upcoming project for the lift station located on Route 100, in front of Decor Cabinets. As a part of this project, a temporary street closure will be necessary to ensure the smooth execution of the work.

Beginning on Wednesday, October 4th, the City will be implementing a temporary closure of Grant Street, from Route 100 to Enterprise Street, in order to facilitate the replacement of the lift station. The closure is anticipated to remain in effect until Friday, November 10th.

To minimize disruption and expedite the completion of this vital infrastructure project, the contractor will be working on weekends as well.

The City of Morden understands that this temporary street closure may cause inconveniences for residents and motorists, and we apologize for any disruptions to daily routines and commutes. We kindly request that citizens plan alternate routes, allow extra travel time, and follow the designated detour signs that will be in place throughout the closure period.

To stay updated on the street closure and detour information, we invite you to visit our interactive road closure map at https://www.mymorden.ca/road-closures-map. The map will provide real-time information about the current road closures in Morden, including detour routes.
